occasions or most probably a regular visitor, especially to satiate our craving
for a heart, healthy sandwich. Deli have come a long way since it is open in
2007 from a tiny sandwich and salad joint to a sophisticated restaurant with an
exciting range of sandwiches, Asian curries, pasta, fish, chicken entrée and
several healthy and innovative salads.

I had the privilege of tasting some of the newly added as well as some
to be added dishes in their menu. For appetizer I had the most delightful
Mezzeh Platter, it was a grand selection of lip smacking chicken sheeshtouk,
falafel, izmeh, stuffed vine leaves and the most delicious middle eastern dips
that includes hummus, muttabbal and labneh. The salad was a tasteful and healthy medley of sliced roasted
beef served on a bed of fresh and crunchy iceberg, buttery avacado with cherry tomatoes topped with
the house dressing. For light lunches and weight watchers this can be a meal in
itself.

The new entrée in the main course include a beautifully
styled grilled red snapper perched on a bed of crispy fried noodles with a side
of gratin potatoes, topped with a palatable sauce of garlic, capers and chilies.
Every bite of the fish was a true treat however, the noodles were too oily and
kind of hard to chew, this definitely needs some improvement. The Stuffed Polo
Chicken is a delectable creation stuffed with crab served with a colorful
selection of seasonal vegetable on the side. The new sandwich on the menu is a toasty;
crust freshly baked healthy meal of grilled chicken and avocado, served with
chunky potatoes wedges.
Beside a very peaceful dine in, Deli is great for take-away
and catering for small and large events and parties. The quality of food and
standards are maintained all through, fresh and healthy anytime anywhere.
